... by car

If you take the exit Karlsbad on the A8, drive through Waldbronn-Busenbach on the Ettlinger Straße. Then follow the road L564 to Bad Herrenalb.

If you take the exit Rastatt on the A5, drive via Gaggenau, Gernsbach and Loffenau to Bad Herrenalb. Do not enter the tunnel in Gernsbach, but exit the main road just before the tunnel (exit Altstadt).

In the town centre of Bad Herrenalb, follow Dobel. The Haus der Kirche is near the Catholic Church (see also: maps.google.de)


... by means of public transportation

Find a convenient train connection at the website of Deutsche Bahn. Take an ICE (InterCity Express Train) to Karlsruhe Hauptbahnhof (main station). Step out of the Hauptbahnhof through the main entrance, where the tram stops are (name of stop: Hbf Bahnhofsvorplatz). Take tram No. S1 via Ettlingen, at 17 and 57 after the hour between 06:00 and 24:00 h. A schedule can be downloaded here.

The Haus der Kirche is within walking distance from the tram station of Bad Herrenalb (a 5-10 minutes walk). The building is located behind the Catholic Church (a red sandstone building). Follow Bahnhofstrasse, pass the miniature golf area, and proceed until Ettlinger Strasse. Cross at zebra crossing and turn left into Bleichweg. Follow Bleichweg about 50 metres, then turn right into Flachsteinweg. Follow Flachsteinweg until you reach the conference site (back entrance). Go around the building for the main entrance (see also: maps.google.de)
